Synthetic Happiness
A while ago I bumped into an outstanding video on TED on happiness. Feel free to donate some of your browsing time to tune in. You won't regret it, unless you've already heard about it, or if you're unable to feel happiness.
I find i'm usually pretty happy and whenever I feel a bit down I just go somewhere like the beach, or the headland near my house. Sitting there looking over the ocean I can't help but feel so lucky just to be alive and experiencing all this, and living in a beautiful part of the world with lots of awesome people, the freedom to express my views as I see fit, and a government which supports me if I can't find work or am studying.
Agreed, can't stand unhappy people!
